Sangalai Sand River

Location

In the Heart of the Maasai Mara

The Maasai Mara National Reserve

Sangalai Sand River is set on the banks of the Sand River, inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Positioned in a quiet bend of the river and surrounded by open plains and riverine forest, the camp sits in one of the Mara’s most wildlife-rich areas.

Its location provides year-round opportunities for game viewing, and during migration season, the wildebeest and zebra freely across into the Mara in this area from the Serengeti, fostering a continuous sense of connection to the landscape.
